What is the difference between pedals and footpegs on an ebike?

If you are new to bicycles or electric bikes, it can be confusing to understand the difference between pedals and foot pegs. While they may look similar at a glance, they serve very different purposes.

On the Fatfish OG 2.0, the pedals are located directly in front of the rider and are used to move the bike forward.
