Returns Policy

We understand that buying an electric bike or scooter can be a risky decision to make. Our knowledgeable staff is here to answer any questions you may have and help you find the perfect electric ride to suit your lifestyle. Whether you're commuting, exploring, or just having fun, we are committed to ensuring you make an informed choice.
If you have a change of heart or want to upgrade, it’s easy. We offer a 7-day return policy (this period starts from the date of delivery). 
Return the unused item in its original condition (in its original packaging) to our warehouse (more information below):
 
1. Change of Mind Returns
You can return your bike or e-scooter within 7 days of delivery if you change your mind, subject to the following:
Returns Process:
Email us at online@rideelectric.com.au with the following:
- Clear photos of the product from different angles. e.g. Front and back sides.
- Photo of the display with odometer reading under 30 km.
- A photo of the original packaging; please note, you cannot return an ebike or escooter without the original packaging. 

Conditions:
Once the return is received and inspected, we will inform you that we have received your returned item and will inspect the state of the product to determine whether you are eligible for a full or partial refund.
Please note, you are responsible for any damage in transit. If you are not happy with the amount we are offering to refund based on the bike or scooter's condition, you can choose to have the product sent back to you at your own cost. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your product to reach us or for it to be sent back to you may vary.

Refunds:
If you are eligible, the refund will be processed to the original card or payment method you paid with, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, as per the payment method’s policies. If you do not want the refund to be processed to the original payment method (due to reasonable circumstances, as determined by our team), please email us at online@rideelectric.com.au so we can assist you in verifying your identity before processing a refund.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

2. Returning Faulty Products
You can return your ebike or e-scooter within 3 days of delivery if it was dead on arrival, subject to the following:
 Email us at online@rideelectric.com.au with the following:
- Clear photos of the product from different angles. e.g. Front and back sides.
- A video explaining the issue
- A photo of the original packaging. Please note, you cannot return the bike without the original packaging. 

Conditions:
Once the return is received and inspected, we will inform you that we have received your returned item. We are not responsible for any damage in transit. Once our team determines the issue, we will get back to you with further information and options on how to proceed.

If the product is deemed not faulty, you will need to pay postage to get the product resent or combined to ship with the next order. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged or re-returned product to reach you may vary.
3. Exchanges (if applicable)
Exchanges are only applicable on products that are defective or damaged to a non-repairable degree, as determined by our team.

What items are non-refundable?
Damages caused by crashes or mistreatment are not covered.

Refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account.
Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Contact your bank for information on this.
There is usually some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you do not receive a refund in the timeline as per your card issuer's policies and need evidence that our team processed the refund to file a claim with your bank, please reach out to us.
If the company has processed the refund (and can substantiate the same), it cannot be held liable for any issues, losses, or delays that arise with the bank or card issuer regarding the timing or receipt of that refund.
